Riverbend Festival Returns

39 years ago, the Riverbend Music Festival was started by Chattanooga locals as a way for the community to interact with one another in the heart of downtown. Now, the time of year is up and coming for music lovers to join their friends and family at the Tennessee River on June 3-5 to celebrate the summer at this two-night festival.
Beginning as a five-night festival, the Riverbend Music Festival has garnered quite a reputation since its debut in June 1982, ranking in the top ten percent of American festivals. Although being unfortunately canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, event organizers have pushed through to ensure that this beloved occasion occurs this summer for all to enjoy, and the line-up does not disappoint.
An average of 50,000+ regular attendees can expect to hear a fantastic selection of music from 20+ artists such as Cage the Elephant, Brothers Osborne, and many more, including some surprise guests!
Besides live music, guests can enjoy an art market featuring various local artists, as well as yard games and a craft beer garden. Attendees from out of state can also enjoy Chattanooga’s best views and tourist attractions in their time visiting, from the Tennessee Aquarium to Ruby Falls.
Tickets are available for purchase on the official Riverbend Festival website where you can also read more about the festival’s history as well as vendor and volunteer information. Make sure you show up to the Tennessee River this year to live it up in front of Chattanooga’s scenic views!
