Be the Change Youth Initiative is a collective of locals who value the empowerment of young people. They state that they believe all youth should be “heard, seen, and loved.” They focus on sharing real lived experiences of the local youth, extending compassion to all, and taking action to “strive for the betterment of humanity rather than the elevation of the self.” Putting an emphasis on collaboration, the group loves to share its mission through performances and workshops for locals.
